| | The air is crisp, the evenings cool, and the trees are showing off their rich, warm hues. It must be autumn. Time to pick apples, bake pies, can the left over fruits and vegetables for the long winter ahead. I can just imagine a Grandmom teaching her granddaughter to can for the first time, or Mom baking a pie with her kids. The pumpkin is pureed and canned, along with the strawberry applesauce, and the fresh picked flowers to brighten the room. |
