Today's challenge is a photo to be inspired by! find all the details and the photo for your inspiration on the Sassy Blog
I was inspired by the wonderful weathered brick with ferns and earthtone colors!
sizzix has a wonderful brick embossing folder, perfect for this challenge. I aged it by inking the negative side of the folder before embossing, then I sponged the edges with adirondack mushroom then a touch of really rust over parts of the edges.
I aged the shutter with several colors too.
these tiny flowers are from a dollar punch from michaels. I dotted the centers and colored in with prisma pencils and antiqued the edges with mushroom ink. love how they turned out, they add a delicate touch to the boldness of the greenery.
this fun Sassy image ( Polly's Pink Flower) colored with prisma pencils and blended with gamsol, then- very fussy cut with scissors and and exacto knife.
