I started by cutting out the card base with the Lacy Square Spellbinder and largest square. Score the back piece a little from the top and adhere to the back top of the front piece with liner tape to create a card. Then I cut the red layer and embossed with Square Lattice Folder (my new favorite embossing folder).
The flower stamp is Cameo Daisy from Heartfelt Creations (I think itÂ’s retired now). Stamp two flowers in red ink. I embossed with clear embossing powder. Cut both flowers out, however one flower is cut out to just the center petals. Layered the cut out flower on top and used a pop up to give it height. Ran the top petals through my fingers a bit and softly bent them back.
I wanted to add a center to the flower, but a button alone didnÂ’t seem to look right for this card. I found a shiny red button and added the pearl brad on top of it (didnÂ’t have red pearl or rhinestone big enough for this center, but the two together worked for me.) To bring in the small silver frame holding the pearl, I added silver dots around the flower with Viva Pearl Pen.
Card measures 4 3/16” squared.
