When I saw Lori's challenge to use classroom supplies on a card, and then I saw how many people were using paper clips, I knew I needed to be different. Well, I *am* different, but I meant DO something different.
I took the approach of types of classes, and what you'd see on the walls in those classes. Eiffel Tower = French class. We have Math represented by the fraction. We have a punched card which brings me back to my college days of carrying around a box of punched cards for my computer classes. (Yes, I am old.)
We also have music and art because those were part of the standard curriculum back in the day. I added some washi tape for a ruler, and even though I broke down and added a paper clip, I did add staples, too.
As an added bonus, I used notebook paper so this also qualifies for my own VSNA challenge. Sweet.
