Barb(Amisjag) suggested the site of Bella Soleil to Stef for our inspiration. What a fantastic site filled with lovely Italian wares...especially ceramics.
I chose these OLIVE JARS. I recently had purchased some Tim Holtz metallic distress stains and was anxious to try them. The colors of these jars seemed to have a metallic look to me. I find photographing metallic sheens quite challenging...so the copper really didn't show up in the bg as it does IRL, which makes it go with the banding on the foliage panel.

Very cool with the platinum embossing powder Sallie!! I agree that it can be very frustrating sometimes trying to capture the details we put into our cards. At any rate, yours is still very attractive.

Sallie, I love this! I love the way you used the distress stains. I can just imagine what it looks like IRL. The abstract dotted patterned paper is beautiful and reminds me of a dress I bought this summer.

I think metallic colors are so hard to photo too! I love those jars, and your card is really inspired!

All the metallics look so fantastic with the black background! The outer panels remind me of fireworks exploding at night off in the distance! Your vellum sentiment in white really captures my attention and I LOVE the font! Beautiful card Sallie!
Very artsy card, Sallie! I can just imagine how the metallic stains must look IRL!! The smokey shadow is a great neutral BG! This was such a neat site with tons of inspiration!
