Cathy Mac gave us the challenge today, to use a creative fold somewhere on our card or project. I decided to make an easel card. Since I have been seeing so many beautiful fall cards, I thought I would use that as my theme. The image (what a cutie!) is Sassy Sally and her Thanksgiving Turkey. Over at Sassy Cheryl the weekly challenge is to use die cuts, so that was very easy to incorporate! I am not sure how well, it shows up, but the image was colored with Copic markers, fussy cut and popped out on dimensionals.
The stickers at the bottom of the base of the card, are outline stickers by Dazzel. Then I used chalk to fill in some color. The "thankful" sentiment is also part of that set, but I didn't have to do anything to it, just stick! All the leaves were cut with the SB leaves die and then chalked a little to add shadow. That is about it. So thankful you stopped by to take a peek!

So so funny! Is the Pilgrim thankful he got the turkey, or is the turkey thankful he's still alive? Beautifully colored as always, Kathleen, and I can't tell that you cut the image out-that's how perfectly you cut it! You have a way with scissors! Sweet Thanksgiving card indeed~

I'm sure that pilgrim's mom will frown at the colorful outfit she's wearing. But I think it's marvelous! Those pilgrims needed a little color in their lives. What a great card!

Kathleen,
What an adorable card - I love Sassy Sally! You've colored her perfectly and her turkey pal too! The easel card is lovely, and the leaves add that touch of a wonderful Fall!
