My challenge to the CCEE Stampers this week was to make a card or project using paper or images with a food or drink theme. Bonus points if a recipe was included!
I thought I should at least try to earn bonus points in my own challenge , so it took me a while to come up with a workable idea. In the end my Pyrus papers took me down the pear route - and pear sorbet is one of my favourites!
The card 5 ¾” square - I used yellow Bazzill and Basic Grey Pyrus. I added some paper buttons made with a die-namics button die, and die-namics faux crochet border, buttons tied with ribbon.
Frantic Stamper pear coloured with Couleur dÂ’Art pencils, edges sponged with Old Paper, and finished off with the spiral punch and a couple of brads.

This is a recipe I've never tried, Sabrina, but it sounds very good. Love your pretty pear on that spiral punched paper. Good challenge..I'm going to enjoy seeing all the recipes.

I've often wished I lived closer to you to be able to partake in one of your culinary creations. Over the years I've enjoyed reading some of the delicious sounding foods you've made, and I bet this pear sorbet is no exception. This is a terrific recipe card, Sabrina. I love the spiral punch and your sweet little paper flowers with their ribbon embellishment. A visual delight!!

I'm really not much of a cook - but your recipe and card are beautiful and I love pears! Your DP is so pretty and so very perfect for this recipe - and the pear looks good enough to eat. This was a fun challenge, Sabrina!
