Here is my card for this week's challenge to make an elegant wedding card in cream and gold! Ctorina's DD is getting married, so for EPEC - Make a fancy wedding cake...they will need plenty with 42,000 Teapotters crashing the reception!See the challenge RIGHT HERE I had to get in on this one because of the SONG in the link above - it was mine and my DH's song, and brought tears to my eyes to hear it sung so beautifully!!!
I embossed the vanilla with my CB folder and cut out the center, used the new SB lattice to "emboss'" a gold BG instead of cutting it out. Stamped the cake in versamark and embossed in gold, popped it up over a lace tablecloth, then added the flower, leaves, and bows. The glossy gold is very hard to photograph, but I hope you can see it okay - picks up too many reflections!
Hope we have enough cake for everyone - I see a lot of tea potters have brought cake - we' ll see! LOL - thanks for looking!!

It was hard to miss this party, especially with cake involved. Girlfriend, you did an outstanding job on this card. I love the EF and how you cut out the center, and I do believe I recognize that lovely Georgia gold you have used for the lattice background LOL. Then you add those details like a fancy lace tablecloth - you know how to serve cake sistah!! Seriously a lovely card that I know you put a lot of time and heart into it, in spite of everything you have going preparing for surgery - WOW. Hugs.
