This card is for the HYCCT Challenge Chicken S-O-U-P. You were to make a card with a chicken and components starting with the letters in soup.
S - Scalloped Edge Punch
0 - Oval Punch
U - Umber Brown (actually soft suede but I'm stretching it a bit)
P - Pearl Eyes (Black)
I cut a square with my cutter and corner rounded the edges and then cut the punch in slighly more than half. I used a flower punch for the crown, an oval punch for the sentiment, and a edge punch (or two) for the cross thingies. The hearts were done with my cricut George and Basic Shapes Cartridge. The beak was the bottom portion cut off of an extra heart. I cased the chicken idea from a card I saw on the gallery when I typed in "chicken punch art" into the search box.
I used a square cut below the half and corner rounted the three points on the square for the body. The comb is a small flower punch. The arms are hearts. The eyes are black pearls and the nose is cut off of a heart punch.
