This week's CAS challenge was an inspiration from the Pinterest site - love Pinterest!! I used a long retired SU dp, Fall Flowers, which I cut into strips and layered onto my white card. I added a satin ribbon to the top layer. I cut and embossed my maple leaf, sponged with Tangerine Tango, distressed the edges with Walnut Stain and added a few droplets of water which has left parts blotchy and pink in colour but I quite liked the effect. Added the sentiment.
Thank you so much for taking a look!

Sue!!! Your leaf is AMAZING! WOW! Such great color and shading and dimension! The embossed area leaves just the perfect amount of lightness for an outline and the destressing of the edges really make the leaf start to look real. But then, you add your gorgeous coloring and the effect of the water drops, and you get...WOW!!! EXCELLENT leaf!!! I would love to case your beautiful card sometime!!!
