We have a Fall Retreat coming up this weekend for our church and I wanted to throw together some thank you notes for the committee who planned the retreat (will probably go back and make a few more for our speakers too!) I loved today's CAS challenge to use this photo for inspiration http://pinterest.com/pin/231935449530754142/. I wanted to mimic the cool colors and spatter and the leaves reminded me of the texture of paper bags so I went with some Kraft notecards I had on hand as my base. I used dictionary pages for my image panel stamping in Versafine Onyx and added chalked pastels for the colors. I sponged my edges in Eggplant and added some of the same on the envies.

We used the same stamp image today! I LOVE how you stamped over the dictionary page and the kraft bg...I feel a CASE coming on, Gail...great idea for a some CAS thankyou's!

BEAUTIFUL! Love the wonderfully colored leaves on the dictionary page! Using the kraft background is perfect! Your stamping really is lovely! Your sponging and "splotching" are amazing too! VERY pretty thank you card!!!
