IC354 Bleached Birthday

Steph gave us the cutst site today for the inspiration challenge called Wild Things Dresses. I remember making my daughters jumpers with the applique designs on them. They were really popular in the 70's and 80's. I chose this dress for my inspiration, mainly because of the colors.

I embossed the flowers and leaves and then applied bleach to areas. It's fun to see what the bleach does to the paper. I then sponged chalk around the image. I outlined the card with gold leaf pen. I embossed the sentiment and cut it out with a nestie, and added a bow. I lastly added liquid pearls to the centers. TFL

I shall have to try bleaching again! All I can say is my first attempts looked nothing like this, and I quickly gave up but this gorgeousness inspires me to give it another go.

GORGEOUS, Linda. Your bleaching gave you such a lovely color which then you enhanced. Lover the rich warn tan/brown tones of your card . The flowers are exquisite.
