Steph gave us the cutst site today for the inspiration challenge called Wild Things Dresses. I remember making my daughters jumpers with the applique designs on them. They were really popular in the 70's and 80's. I chose this dress for my inspiration, mainly because of the colors. http://www.etsy.com/listing/99731741...rls-play-dress
I embossed the flowers and leaves and then applied bleach to areas. It's fun to see what the bleach does to the paper. I then sponged chalk around the image. I outlined the card with gold leaf pen. I embossed the sentiment and cut it out with a nestie, and added a bow. I lastly added liquid pearls to the centers. TFL

I shall have to try bleaching again! All I can say is my first attempts looked nothing like this, and I quickly gave up but this gorgeousness inspires me to give it another go.

Holy smokes, I put this in my faves folder so fast it made me dizzy. This is FANTASTIC!! I am sooo going to CASE this card! Absolutely stunning. You've convinced me to give the bleach method a try. WOW.

Whoa there....that is quite a dramatic card! Absolutely gorgeous but I dunno about the bleach...I think I would have one big ol' mess if I tried that! You did an amazing job, Linda!

GORGEOUS, Linda. Your bleaching gave you such a lovely color which then you enhanced. Lover the rich warn tan/brown tones of your card . The flowers are exquisite.
