Michelle challenges us to use markers in a new way. I chose Smackin’ Acetate.
I used Tombow markers in green, yellow and orange on acetate, spritzed with water and smacked onto watercolor thick card. I stamped the Penny Black “letter background” in Hero Arts “cup O’ Joe ink and stamped on after drying the watercolor with the heat gun. I die cut with a Sizzix bigz sunflower and vine and sponged the edges to define the shapes. The card is 4.5" sq. The dragonfly charm is an RAK from Audrie(geekgirl101). Thank you Audrie!
As the days of summer wane the sunflower is brilliant.
This was so much fun, Michelle!
Thank you all for checking in! |
