For today's Ways to Use It challenge to use our markers in a different way. I rubbed my Mellow Moss, Barely Banana, Bashful Blue, and Brocade Blue markers onto an acrylic block, spritzed it with water and then pressed it over my masked image to create my sky and grass background. I also used the blues in the same manner for the sentiment panel.
The sketch is from yesterday's sketch challenge.

Cute card! I'm going to try the marker on acrylic... but first I think I'll have to find something that sprays a very fine mist or with my luck I'll end up with a hot mess! lol Thanks for the instruction and inspiration!

Darling card..love the blue and yellow combo and your embossed layer. Your bg technique turned out really cool for a sky bg and the sentiment....I haven't tried it using an acrylic block only an acetate sheet....seeing how yours turned out I need to try it on my blocks.. It has kind of a marbled effect.

Oh, my goodness! Your puppy is too stinkin' cute! He's colored beautifully and seems to be loving the butterfly's attention! Great dp & ef. When I read the sentiment, I read it really slow just like the way it's spelled. Lol
