So, this task added horizontal lines and hexagons.
Since the page kind of has a double topic, I decided to use the horizontal lines for the film people and hexagons for the stamping people.
As usual for me, everything is SU!
All the paper strips and paper fill for the punches is from the Number One kit.
The filmstrip stamp is from Picture This. In the SU! store, it looks like it's just a layout, but on mydigitalstudio.net blog they showed this stamp, which I immediately needed to buy.
The filmstrip outline is from Candid Frames.
The blue strips are a tag embellishment that I cropped, enlarged, and then 'stuck' together with digital tape.
After all that, the hard part of the hexagons was trying to get them lined up properly, so the spacing wasn't too strange. I'm sure there's a trick, I just didn't know it!
I'm still really not sure I'm happy with this, but I'm sure that the next two weeks will bring more additions ... and that'll help 'fix' anything that needs fixing.

I love how this is turning out. The hexagons look great--mine aren't perfectly lined up on my page either. The align feature does help, though. Did you try that? I think it works with punches in MDS.
