This went to Miss Eula to help celebrate her 110 birthday! Can you imagine?????
I'm not real happy w/ this as somehow my measurements were off a bit. I tucked my best birthday memories in the inside pocket. I told her my best memories were when I was a young child having a b'day party at my Mam-maw's when she would make whatever we wanted for dinner. She always made 'crusty' frosting for our cakes. It was a long while b/f I knew that was really 7 minute frosting! I always asked for 'hard beans'. That was some way she made baked beans. They were the BEST, but of course no one now knows how to make them!!! That's my story & I'm sticking to it. I hope it brings a smile to her face, as it sure brought fond memories to me.

No, I can't imagine. Karen, you did a great job with this card and it turned out to be so gorgeous. Love the flower. I'm just sure Miss Eula will be tickled over it and your memories.

hard beans and crusty frosting....lol....oh what fun memories.. love that she made you whatever you wanted...that was our privledge on our birthday too...we got to pick the menu...my sisters had the nerve to tell me they were glad when I moved out cuz they didn't have to eat baked mac and cheese and fish ever again....I asked for that every time....yummo!!!..

this card is really cool...love the design and the colors are so cheerful...Ms Eula will love it

Oh the joy I am having, reading of all the Teapotter birthday memories! The memories that your memories are stirring are wonderful! Kathy wrote of angel food cake, and Karen, you write of crusty frosting, these are things that were in my life thanks to Grandma!
I love the pretty blue and green and flower that make up this wonderful twisted card! Eula will be thrilled!

Man on many..don't be fretting about this card! It rocks and will be such a great addition to Eula's birthday cards! Beautiful and with a pocket for your letter! Awesome!

What a nice trip down memory lane for you.....I know how to do hard beans....its when you forget to soak them over night and try to fix beans in a hurry for dinner....they are always hard! Snort! Lots of great memories and I know Eula will love hearing about your experiences with beans and frosting! Snort!
