I had this set out on my table, so reached for it again using our sketch. I went for a dark base and sponged the colors onto the nestie shape with the nestie still in place. That gives you the nice white edge. The wide ribbon serves as the horizontal panel.

Beautiful colors and your sponging gives a gentle quality to the silhouetted birds. The ribbon is fabulous as your horizontal panel and it sort of mimics the pattern in the vertical one. Lovely card Kathy!

Beautiful, Kathy!! Love the wonderful sponging behind your silhouetted image...like a glowing winter's sun. The chevron DP and striped ribbon go so well together.

This is a lovely card, Kathy. Great way to combine two challenges. Love the sponged sky - amazing that those two colors came out with a pinkish quality, which is my favorite kind of sunset sky. Clever use of the ribbon as the horizontal panel.
