Made this for my cousin Scott's birthday. I got my inspiration from several color block card layouts I had seen in the gallery lately.

DSP is from Simple Stories. Love those colors together. I bought thinking "guy colors" but seeing them together, am almost thinking "Christmas" colors, so I may end up playing with the scraps to see how that might work out.

Not my favorite card by a long shot. Any ideas as to how I could better embellish the color blocks? Without anything over there it really seemed blah to me, but what I ended up with really doesn't excite me.

Honestly, I like it the way it is. Love the color blocks and your sentiment being on a plain color so it stands out. Love the design and layout, Debbie. I think it's a winner.

Me too, like the way it is, don't mess with it! Just showed it to the friend I am staying with and stamping with, saying how classy it looks. And it is perfect as a 'boy card'....always tricky to do.
