Meet Baxter, the OSUM (Official Stamp Uniform Mascot). Bax lives in Jammer Town and is the loyal and loving furr child of Katie (MattsGirl). Baxer, the sweet long-haired dachshund who curls up like a lil brown croissant is Katie's companion, and now the official protector of the boundaries of Jammer Town. Dogs have always been dear to my heart, and it touches me to see how they show unconditional love. In honor of Katie, and our newly appointed Mascot, Bax, I submit a tribute via Mayberry. This episode is airing today on TVLand at 3:00! Get some dog snacks, and settle in. And pay attention, you can learn all kinds of good things in this episode, ie: Why giraffe's are selfish, and also why a thin, high spirited person needs a Mr. Cookie Bar to satisfy his sinkin' spell in the late afternoon!
You have not heard of Jammer Town yet? Oh my....well, I do know you've been there if you are a Stamper. You can pick up some mighty handy tips to enrich the Jammer Town lifestyle, and heighten your stamping experience HERE.
The Twisted Sister's challenge was issued by our lovely Bus Driver, with the shiny halo, Shirley. We were to use a critter, Rectangle, Circle and Oval in our design. The inside sentiment is from ODBD and reads “Stop and consider God's wonders” Job 37:14. I do believe Bax covers the Critter part and I am claiming the gem (no doubt from Bax's Prince Crown) is my “circle”. The lil rusty heart is one of my hoarded treasures from Michele (Mitchygitchygoomy), and I was delighted to use it here. If you'd like to join the Twisted Ones, please add TSC0907 to your keywords so we can see what you come up with! Thanks for looking! Woof!
Note:OSUM also translates into “Awesome” in dog talk.

OH MY WORD!!!! I cannot believe you did this! I am almost speechless.....almost. Jammer Town certainly does have a suitable protector in dear ol' Bax here....he starts out his morning patrol at around 6:30am EVERY day to perform his hourly "trouble checks". Believe me, you do not want to get crossed up with this guy...don't let that sweet appearance fool you...he may be mini but he is definitely mightly....he does have his own kryptonite though....he simply cannot pass up a belly rub. I cannot believe that the AG episode today is Dogs, Dogs, Dogs! How funny! Your card is absolutely beautiful with those gorgeous nestie rectangles, beautiful flowers, and that darling rusty heart....not to mention my sweet lil Bax, who has been the subject of several of my cards in my gallery. You definitely caught me off guard on this one....as the Edith Wharton quote says, Bax is "My little dog, a heartbeat at my feet". He is that and now he has an official title to boot! I think he will serve Jammer Town well! Love this card, Pat! You are just the bestest! Love ya, girl!

Ahhhh, I want a Baxter. The cards you create when you are in your Jammer Town uniform are the best. I see you have been very busy this morning making lots of pretty cards. I want to see them on Monday. Hugs, friend.

Well, you rocked the TSC challenge with this"tug on the heartstrings" picture card of Baxter - LOO-OOOOVe that rusty (trusty?) heart of Bax's and look at 'dem puppy dog eyes - he sure is precious!
These RRectangle dies are showing up everywhere and they make such a terrific card - that stitching and the crinkled up, dyed seam binding makes your blooms stand out beautifully. The stitching is exemplary and the final touch of Baxter's name on the oval with a gem is genius! Great card for our new mascot!! Hugs!

SOOO I went into read all about Jammer Town...What a hoot. I used to be a clothes horse...no more...not when I can use that money on a new die! This card is just a adorable...and beautiful all at once! He is the perfect Mascott for such a delightful place. For the most part, it is to hot in SO Calif. to create in "jammers" but I do create alot in what I sleep in. (Comfy and cool). You are a wonderful creator of amazing cards and your added ability to spin a good yarn makes every one of your postings a complete delight! TYFS

Nuttin better than doggie love!! Bax looks like the perfect mascot for Jammer town!!! You Romantic Rectangle addict you, but Bax is a longer dogger so I guess it was necessary to drag them out, yet AGAIN, tee hee. Found out Miss Katie lives in my neck of the woods, and she tells me she knows of a place near my fave stamp shop that sells 'ginormous cupcakes' - I think we should find out if they will let us in in our jammers????
