I am sorry to be so late for Friday's F4A133 challenge, I spent the better part of the day taking my Mom to the doctor's. Jeanne gave us the challnge to make a baby card, but not just any old baby card! As some of you may know, I am a new grandmother, so this works out GREAT for me and new granddaughter Madilynn Michelle!
For the Inspiration Challenge, Anne sent us to France, well almost! It is a website called the French Garden House. They have so many beautiful items!!! (Especially if you like shabby chic!)
This card was made with several RAKs! Angela (Arizona Maine) was so kind to send me the pink die cut (which is so cool!), the oval sentiment, (I just added a little chalk to the edges) and the white tulle. Thank you so much Angela!
Jennifer (Mother's Daughte) sent me the beautiful white die cut. It really ended up being so perfect to guide the tulle to the sides of the card! Thank you Jennifer, such a pretty die cut too!
Just below the white die, I used a corner punch to punch in a circle. I saw a video on Pintrest, so I wanted to try it out. I used Aleen's tacky glue to adhere the main flower to the center. The two side flowers have a thin green wire that I wrapped around the tulle.
Hello??? Are you still awake? LOL Sorry, I never know if folks what details or not. Anyway, again, sorry for being MIA on Friday. Thank you Jeanne and Anne for two wonderful challenges! Thank you Angela and Jennifer, I couldn't have made it without you! Lastly, thank YOU for reading all of this AND taking a peek!

Congratulations, Grandma! So happy for you! And this is absolutely gorgeous, a real celebration of femininity. That tulle is a wonderful touch, all threaded through the layered up die-cuts from your fabby friends! Beautiful!!

Kathleen, your card is amazing! It looks like a true vintage shabby chic card straight from France! So precious, and your new little granddaughter will cherish this from her grandma. I can see all the love that went into making it for her. So beautiful~
