After the background was done I started on the white background paper. I used the Doodle Notes stamp set for this. Doodle Notes was a concept I came up with when I was searching for fun ways to leave little notes in my daughterÂ’s lunch box last year. Nancy McKinney illustrated this set and did such a fabulous job! This set comes with 34 stamps in a great assortment of images and sentiments.
I used the zigzag arrow for the white background paper. I stamped it in Peeled Paint, Squeezed Lemonade and Faded Jeans and embossed them with clear embossing powder. The sentiment is stamped on kraft paper in Faded Jeans ink and the star is also stamped in Faded Jeans ink onto Choice Snow White Cardstock. I colored the image with Copics and added a bit of stitching to the whole card using the Peeled Paint Distress Marker using the pen tip. I distressed much of the card with a Prima Distress Tool and used a bit of foam tape and twine here and there.
