I needed a couple of masculine birthday cards this month. This is my first one inspired by a couple of challenges; Kelly's Stamp 2 Spend challenge, which was to be inspired by a beautiful Fall painting by Grandma Moses. Julia's color challenge of Choc. Chip, Basic Gray and Gumball Green. Also, by Dawn's Free For all challenge last week to do a Happy Birthday. Also this card is for the All Occassion Card Challenge for September.
I stamped the trees, then used Su! pastels to give the trees color layered it on my new Woodgrain EF. Maybe the first time I used my new Fancy tag die, too.

Ah Sharon, this is lovely! You just can't go wrong with 'Lovely as a Tree' can you? I love the background woodgrain embossing! Fantastic for a male card! Love the way you colored the fall trees too.

Good job with combining the challenges. This card gives me an idea for the AOCC challenge for Sept. 15. Thanks for the inspiration. I know when you see the challenge you're going to wonder how this card inspired it.

Thank you for taking a moment to leave me a comment on my sympathy card. Very sweet of you. This is an awesome card; I just ordered this very stamp set!
