I received this adorable stamp a few days ago in the mail from a stamping buddy. I had to use it for this sketch.
This is for the sketch challenge from yesterday. I did flip panel #4 to accommodate this stamp. I used Close to Cocoa for my base, Bashful Blue ran it through an ef I had sponged. Then Early Espresso and I ran it through the TH wood grain ef. Popped up the last two layers. I used a brad from my stash. On the bottom I put in 3 brads and just did not like it. This card was not suiting me. I took them out and thought of this rope. Tied a knot in the end and used Crystal Effects to adhere it to the card. I like it much better now.
This reminds me of my dgs when he was little. He had to wear his chaps and spurs along with his cowboy hat any time he was here. He had a pony saddle and my husband would put it on the living room floor and he would pretend to ride a bull in it. It was so funny. Now he is 14 and a complete city kid. I had fun making this card because it brought back a lot of memories.
Thanks for looking.

It's really good to have you back in the gallery with your wonderful cards. This little guy is so very adorable and, in fact, your card is so cute! The little guy brought back a fun memory for me as well. As soon as I saw him, he reminded me of my son, Chad. When Chad was little, he was always in his cowboy boots, hat, gun holster - and for many years - he said he wanted to grow up to be John Wayne.
