For today's sc: I used a texturz plate for the bg and sponged the edges and the inside. I decided to keep it simple so the bird and sentiment wouldn't get lost. First time I use this set and punch, and I really like how this card came out using the vanilla cs. Thanks for looking and happy Wednesday everyone! ~Roberta

I think it was a wise choice for you to keep things simple...this layout has a lot going on. You gave your card such a lovely serene quality with the simple image and pretty soft aqua color with white. A beautiful card, Roberta.

VERY pretty card, Roberta!!! I LOVE your little birdie on that wonderful leafy branch! Your sponged and textured background looks lovely especially with the green panel of leaves in between. That panel kind of reminds me of a bush, just the grouping of all the leaves, really lovely too! Plus your sentiment is SUPER wonderful!!! Awesome card!

I love the simplicity of this card yet...there are some lovely details going on..that textured bg and the sponged edges. The bird is wonderful and I really like that aqua color....another non traditional Thanksgiving card?

Very beautiful card Roberta. I love how you sponged the edges of your embossed layer. It softens the card. Your bird on the branch blends very well with the dp too.
