Hello Everyone!! Was able to play in my stamproom today and finally made a card for this cute little owl I've had since a Copic Class I took back in February!! I'd colored him using Copic markers but didn't like how it turned out, so today I colored OVER the image using Prismacolor Pencils and similar colors. Then I set out for some inspiration and found just what I needed here (of course!!)
Inspiration for this card came from Saturday's Inspiration Website AND this week's Queen - Kathleen Lammie. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Kathleen's gallery, and seeing all her beutiful work!! I espcially love that Kathleen LOVES color. Her cards are bright and fun, and so full of inspiration. Here's Kathleen's beautiful card: {KathleenÂ’s Card }
Changes were with colors, Framelits in place of Spellbinders and punch, added flowers and ribbon. I'd not initially planned to add the floral embellies, but when I saw this weeks IC website I couldn't resist!!! Link here: {Marilyn Rose}
These teensy little roses were made using Pat Smether's Blooms in a Box technique (thanks Pat!!) - link here: {Blooms in a Box} With scallop and circle punches anyone can make this little beauties !!
Thank you Kathleen for sharing your creations!! I see you also like Sunflowers - if I had more time I'd case one of your Sunflower cards. They're all so gorgeous!!
Thank you to Judy for the great IC website - so many beautiful images to see there.
Hugs!
Audrey

Twinzi, you iz back and in FULL FORCE I see. OMG, you used the owl from the copic's class we went to. It was hard to color. You have done a "hoot" of a job on the coloring with your prisma pencils and copics. I love all your layers, nesties, the colors you chose and your beautiful bow. The array of hand-made flowers are magnifico and thanks for the link to Pat's tutorial. It's so good to see you in the gallery. Hope we'll see more soon! Hugzzzz!

This may be the cutest owl I've seen. He's so adorable sitting on that branch surrounded by all those pretty roses. He is really a wide-eyed owl....must have spotted dinner. :-)

Audrey, this adorable. Love the vibrant colors, and your coloring is wonderful. I always forget about layering multiple dies, and I truly love this technique on your card. Wonderful birthday card
