Congratulations to our Brand Spankin new CAS Design Team! This season we bring you 4, yes 4 ladies with some fabulous new samples! We hope you enjoy and play along! This week's CAS challenge is to use fabric! I found an old sundress of my DD's and cut it up! LOL I saw a technique on Papertrey Ink's Make it Monday Challenge to make a fabric pop up focal point. Turned out kinda cute but it took a while! Thanks for looking!

Yes, in quilting it's called trapunto, and it's a very elegant, tricky technique with fabric. You've done a great job with the paper application! Great fun. (Hopefully, DD's grown out of the dress...)

I tried this approach with a negative image and the fabric behind. Even raided my DD's closet! No success for me, but I love how this came out! And I love the black with the blue.
