From another joint post with Jill Foster. I colored the mouse image (Penny Black) using Polychromos pencils - I wanted to keep my card soft and not add too many patterns to the background, so I used a Spellbinders die to emboss a border on my card base (scary for me... I'm always afraid the die will cut through - didn't though!).
The banner die is from Quickutz; I added some simple pencil shading in a very light grey to give it more definition. The sentiment is from Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. I used the outer edge of a paper doily to edge my oval diecut.

love this! I have this little mouse, unused for a while, you've reminded me how adorable he is all over again, must ink him up again soon! Love the shading on your banner.
