Katie, Katie, Katie....my sweet and loving friend. Yes, the one who gave up trade secrets, regarding the proper attire for crafting with stamps. Confused? Take a peek HERE to see how this all comes together, in Jammer Town. Yes, it is a place, one dear to our hearts. The land of paper, ink and yes...jammers! It is official you know, the finest stamping is done in jammers, all over the world! Actual clothing has been known to restrict the flow of fine motor skills associated with stamping, and much freedom is gained by jammers. (Especially monkey jammers, but keep that on under your hat, k?) This freedom also allows privacy, and not feeling the need to answer the doorbell, etc. Yes, jammers, they bring peace to the Stamping World! There are however, certain edicts prevail in Jammer Town:
You are free to refer to the application of lipstick as “Getting Dressed”.
You are free to snack on chips and salsa, in lieu of an actual meal.
You are free to let go of dusting, vacuuming, and dishes- as these are quite restrictive to the even flow of creative juices.
A ceiling fan on “High” is actually called the “Card Dryer” in Jammer Town.
Ladies, the secret is out. So, enjoy. Get some coffee, and live free in Jammer Town! Katie, your card was so inspirational! I love it, and your story too, (even tho you gave me up!) Bless your heart sweet friend! You are hereby dubbed, “Sweet Lady Katie”, High Princess of Jammer Town. Hugs.....and one for Bax too! Woof!
Main image is from Rubber Romance is paper pieced, (a much needed skill when one struggles with coloring!) I totally cased Katie's card, changing the papers and image.
Thanks for looking!
Psst...that is not Seam Binding either, it's the string from my jammers! JK!

OH MY WORD!!!! It's a good thing I don't have a cuppa coffee right now or it'd be coming out my nose......LOL.....this is hysterical! I adore this card, and I striking resemblance, I must say. The only thing missing is a little long haired dachshund at my feet looking up at me and this would pretty much look like a typical jammer day in the great state of Jawja! I accept the title with honor and will do my best to uphold the jammer code and perform my duties as High Princess of Jammertown....You, my friend, are priceless!

Oh my word, so now the word is out on the street for the stampin' uniform of a creative genius!! LOVE the description of why it works better than any other attire -"restricts the flow of fine motor skills associated with stamping" Bwahaha, you KILL me, Sis, sounds like the jammers even sharpened your story telling skilz too! (hey, 'dem monkey jammers with BUNNY slippahs?)
I love it when you come to the gallery with the FUN stuff, as well as your gorgeous Bloom cards. The aqua and teal go great with your lipstick and I love how the pearls set off the jammer strings behind your flower! And I thought I was the only one who used my ceiling fan like that!!!
This card and story just made my night!! LYMI
Off to visit the High Princess of Jammertown , ta-ta!!

Thanks for linking to Katie's precious card. What fun. I love that lady with the big girl robe and PJ's topped off with those bunny slippers. I'm still laughing. It is so fun that you paired the image with such pretty feminie elements.
Your description of stamping attire fits for me perfectly. My husband keeps the house at 74 degrees when we are home as he just can't stand the heat. I freeze at that temp so my night and weekend uniform is long sleeve cotton shirt, flannel pants, socks, slippers and my soft, cuddly blue flannel robe. I dress like I live in Alaska. LOL! There is one more important thing to note for the most comfortable stamping attire. NO BRA! Wheeeeeeeeee!

Laughter does the heart good like a medicine! And Pat, this one really made me laugh! Now I have written proof that I'm not the only sister who stamps in her jammers (a word near and dear to my heart). The next best thing: coffee and a bag of sugar babies -- that my friend is the breakfast of champions! Except when you're on that sugar pump and you leave the ceiling fan on high while applying fine glitter. Don't ask me how I know these things (Susan Liles) I just do - and it wasn't pretty *hahaha* Seriously, Pat, the card is just the best. I want you as my stampin' buddy! I loved it all!
