Halloween Matchbox Treat Holders

| | Another Halloween has come and here are my treat boxes for this round. I used the SU BigZ Matchbox Die and some imagination. After I have the die cut out for the top portion I used my EF (for the pumpkin and spider web boxes) and then brayered with some matching ink before assembling the boxes. I used the SU tearing ruler to make my strips for the mummy and distressed edges using SU Going Grey ink. The eyes on the pumpkin were done with using the SU Star punch and I made the mouth with a circle punch and then the SU small star punch to make the cutouts for the mouth. I wrapped the nugget candies with DSP and done. Mostly just played around with tools on hand and ended up with these. Hope I can inspire someone else cause I sure know how I need the inspiration when I'm trying to make something new on a deadline!! Thanks for looking. |
