I have a little gift and note card that is for the boys teacher. School starts tomorrow, so what better way to show the teacher we appreciate her than with a first day of school treat! Before I go into the details on this darling little box, check out Flourishes Blog, our talented Designer Cindy has a tutorial on how to create this darling box using our Silhouette cameo.
We have a Silhouette file for the beautiful Autumn Blossoms stamp set and this was perfect for the design on the outside of my box. I let the machine cut out my shapes onto Classic White Cardstock, then I stamped the single blossom using Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the matching shape. I also stamped another of the same blossom for my card. For the box I choose the Color Made Easy Pistachio Collection for my cardstock. This green is just yummy! While the Silhouette machine is cutting out the box I finish coloring the blossoms that are stamped out using Copic Collections Burnt Orange and Pistachio.
My card has some of the fabulous matching Color Made Easy Pistachio ribbon in Iced Lime with an added finishing touches silver ribbon slider. So card is now finished, head on over to the box as it is done. I fold up the box close the top up with some more of the Iced Lime ribbon with a bow. Then added my blossom that was already cut out and colored to the front panel with a few pearls and voila. Added a few of the treats I bought and a sweet little treat for the first day of school.

Sister! What a beautiful expression of thanks! The boy's teacher will love you, and quite possibly not pass them this year, just so she can keep you! Love the soft colors and the lil heart slider. You make such heart felt projects. Favs for sure! Lovely work, and that box is to-die-for gorgeous!!!
