Anne's last challenge to the CCEE Stampers for August was to make a back-to-school themed card. Much less wordy in French, where it's known as La rentrée, the return.
Anyway, I long ago gave up making cards, even for challenges, that I could never use, and with no call for a back-to-school card I deconstructed it somewhat to make a card that I could send out more generally, but I think it still fits the theme :D.
I used School Script Dashed font for the background on an A2 base.
The apple from Frantic Stamper was stamped on Bristol Board with Versafine Black, and coloured with Couleur D’Art pencils and gamsol, then matted on black. I added black grosgrain ribbon.
If you'd like to share your back-to-school creations you can link them on the blog or share them in your gallery here using the keyword :D.

Very pretty card and your apple is colored so realistically. I know what you mean about making cards you can never use. Unfortunately, I have made some of those....still have some of them. Finally, donated many to a worthy cause and hope they can use them.

I love the way you colored your apple, Sabrina. It looks so natural. I may have to keep your vow in mind -- I've got many cards I will never send to anyone. Taking them apart and reconstructing them could be an option!
