A CAS card for this week's teapot. I hope to bring Stevie Mouse along later, but the tip of my thumb is cracked and sore, so I was going simple to get at least a card made (and also to finish my quota of Christmas cards for August).
5 3/4" square base. I need to get DH to look at stamps with me more often, he paid for the Impression Obsession Pine which I used on the card base and square panel, stamping it in Memories Soft Grey. Sentiment stamped in black on most cards, I tried Iced Spruce on one. Pine boughs stamped in Iced Spruce. I threaded fine silver cord through and added a single snowflake cut from holographic card, with a rhinestone to finish it. It's layered onto the largest Fleur de Lis square and popped up on foam.

Wow - such beautiful simplicity and elegance! DH has got a real eye for pickin' good ones, all right! Very clever to have the lovely snowflake dangling on a thin silver thread and the soft stamping of the branch for a bg is genius!
