Julie has chosen Mary(jandjccc) to be the Featured Stamper this week. It's hard to believe she has not had this honor before. Her gallery is EXCEPTIONAL....filled with beautiful cards, many featuring flowers and butterflies(my kind of gal).
I chose her FALL TREE to CASE...probably more for inspiration. I have tried Flower Soft and I make a clumpy mess every time. So I did a technique with dabbing ink pad colors on the stamp and then misting it with water before stamping on the paper for a watercolor effect. I changed the layout and put my ribbon under my tree rather than on top of it.
Congratulations, Mary...you MOST deserve this honor!

This is simply lovely, Sallie. Your coloring and misting the stamp before stamping off on cs gave the perfect watercolor effect. I especially like the shadow and fallen leaves at the base of the tree. Wonderful tribute to Mary, and perfect fall card
