Hello everyone! Hope you are enjoying a great weekend! If it includes stamping... it must be great! Anyway... today's ic is from a really fun site called Wind & Weather and I found all sorts of things there that I wanted to order! I love garden flags and was drawn to this one in particular... loving the wavy lines and colors of this live laugh love garden flag: http://www.windandweather.com/live-l...702_c9713.html
I created an altered art piece, starting with a Salvation Army Find which is a layered frame. There are several layers of cardboard clipped together forming a matting, but leaving a deep center in which you can put some things that have depth such as these pretty metal embellishments from M's and the flowers.
I used this month's ODBD Scripture Bookmark for the focal image, and stamped on vanilla card stock using many different ODBD sets to create the background, including Serve the Lord, Dreams, Flowering Faith, Bird Border and Corners, Bookmark: Birds, and It is Well Hymn

That's a wonderful take on your inspiration piece. I can't imagine garden flags standing up to the weather here - I was intrigued by your mention of them in your write-up, because I'd never heard of them before.
