This is a fun bookmark I made while doing a tutorial for Our Daily Bread designs Blog on the Sponged Cloud Technique. The stamp I used from the "Bookmarks - Trees" set has a sun silhouette around the eagle, but since I wanted to create a fluffy cloud day, I used my "Pine" chalk ink around the outside of the stamp only, (leaving out the sun and eagle), then while the chalk ink was still wet, poured clear embossing powder over and heat set it. I then stamped the eagle on a separate piece and clear embossed it as well, then cut it out. The bookmark was cut out with the largest die from the Spellbinders / ODBD Exclusive "Bookmarks" set. I sponged the clouds onto the bookmark (with the bookmark still inside the cutting die), adhered the eagle onto it, then stamped the scripture from the "Bookmark - Verses" set. Added a little "funky fibers" and it's ready!
