I live in St. Louis.....also known as "Cardinal Nation". I'm a HUGE St. Louis Cardinals fan...and, of course, their colors are red and white. If you go to a game or see the fans on TV, it is a sea of red.
Since the main colors of my card had to be red and white(team colors), I didn't put a cardinal in the birch trees(which would have been a natural), because he wouldn't have shown up(females are rather drab and dull, not using one of those)....so a blackbird.
Lastly, I would only like to be considered for a Guest Designer....too many travel plans for this fall and early winter.

This is LOVELY! The red and white are so crisp together. My DH is a Cardinal fan too---he's from Springfield, MO. He was over the moon last year! I, however, am a Nationals fan...if the Cards make the wild card slot this year we are already anticipating problems---separate rooms and maybe divorce attorneys ;-)

So glad to see you here, Sallie! What a delightful card. You really brought the bird theme home to roost...love the image that you chose for this color combination. I'm more of a football fan than baseball, but the Cardinals have been my favorite since the Bob Gibson era. Best wishes in the DT call, my friend.
