This is for FS289 and Maureen aka mamamostamps is our featured artist. Congratulations, Maureen! I was so inspired by your lovely and interesting CAS cards. I loved the simplicity of your Snowy Dasher card found here: Snowy Dasher by mamamostamps at Splitcoaststampers
I kept the Christmas theme with a tree, deer and kept the same layout. I stamped and painted my tree, sponged in sky and added snow to the ground area and branches. Instead of stamping a deer I used my new Leaping Deer die and popped him up on the simple scene. I normally would have placed him a little lower but after I got completely through with the scene I noticed I had smeared green ink on the sky area. Ugh! The antlers came to the resue to cover up the boo boo. LOL!

Kittie, this is so beautiful. I actually spent quite a bit of time viewing your gallery last night, in addition to the FS. I am looking to create a scene with a motorcycle and I am really struggling with perspective and horizon. Your gallery is stunning, and it was cool to see your earlier cards and your growth.
I am a bit unfocused - I loved many from Maureen's gallery too. None of hers fit with the motorcycle scene I am imagining but I LOVE her CAS cards and her bright cards.
I should go do some stampin myself instead of hanging out in the gallery.... But you gals make it too hard to tear myself away!
Awesome card, Kittie! I love the elegant shape of the diecut frame and your coloring of the tree and BG. The red ribbon and greenery for the deer is great, too!

Professor Guru, Enabler Deluxe...I love-love-love this! Your tree is gorgeous, and that leaping deer, majestic! (Oooo..can you imagine the cabin in the woods? Yeah...way in the back! Lol!) Hugs....
