My MIL's b-day is coming up in a couple days so wanted to make a pretty pink (her fav. color) and sparkly. Will be 85 and she loves sparkles too, so was not hard for me to make..:0).
I wanted to honour our lovely featured stamper...Maureen. or mamamostamps. had such a fun tour of her gallery. and this is the card I chose to case...With Sympathy by mamamostamps at Splitcoaststampers
I loved its simplicity and when I saw it it reminded me of a embossed paper I got from a dear friend that I have been saving probably for months now as its so pretty and special. I had to do some tweaking as I was going to start to do it a lot like hers so had the sentiment moved over a touch liek hers is, but when I went to put a couple leaves and a butterfly , they didnt really fit. so I added the 2 flower stickers on the top corners, and the butterfly in the middle decoration. But now my sentiment is crooked...lol...hmm...so added a little butterfly friend..baby dragonfly...shes pink so kinda fits..:0).
then decided the bottom looked bare so I put some sparkles in the spaces. So funny I have trouble with CAS...I loved hers and when I went to make mine...the more I added the more it looked bare..lol...so added a bit more....and then a bit more...lol...thats what makes this fun....thanks for visiting.
And as I type this i notice my ribbon sank a bit...will go fix. have a good day all..:0)

Wendy, your card is so delicate, feminine and pretty! I know what you mean about adding just a bit more here and there, I end up doing that too - I really like how this developed for you though!! : )
