The Twisted Sisters challenge for today was to make a card that reminded you of your childhood. I chose this I Love Lucy stamp. I can remember, way back when, the family would all gather in the living room to watch TV. They had some really great shows back then like Leave it To Beaver, Mary Tyler Moore, I Love Lucy and more. We did not have air conditioning then, yes, that was in the olden days, any way the windows were open in the summer. My mom would laugh hysterically at these funny shows. Any one walking down the side walk probably wondered what was so funny at our house. Those were great days when the family gathered around the tv and we all watched the show. Today, it seems parents and kids are always texting or playing games on the phone or computer while the family is doing things together. There were lots of good times back in those days gone by.

Well, you might love Lucy, but I LOVE YOU LUCY CARD!!
Talk about bringing back the good ol' FUN days, when families did things together, this is the most fitting image ever!!Of course we only had like 3 channels, until UHF came along - but the FUN is definitely portrayed in your awesome card!!
The teal and brown look fabulous together - with the scalloped borders and the stars, it even reminded me of the old "drive-in movies" Those were the days!!

Sis, I love your card! Oh my goodness you are so goooood with copics! Your story is so sweet, and reminded me of Saturday night, you know, hair washing night so's we'd look right for church. We'd watch My Three Sons and mom would get the cream rinse thru our waist long hair. What a pain! Lol. Wonderful card and awesome layout too. Lymi

Those were good shows...clean and funny. And I agree, that now a days families are missing out on so much fun. My daughter said she was at a restaurant and saw a family of 4 eating supper togeter..( kind of)...each one was talking or texting on the phone and not one word was being said to each other.
Sweet and so fun card here. love the stars and the super blue car...wouldnt that be a sweet ride..:0). Thanks for the fun memories of back then with the fun family time and great shows..:

Oh Shirt, this brings back memories for me too - back when watching a treasured show was an event! I can remember running home from school to watch Gilligan's Island and Friday nights were the best -Brady Bunch and the Partridge Family. I loved I love Lucy too - the first ones and the last ones, she was the best! Thanks for sharing this great card and memory I just love, love, love this challenge!!!
