Stars all the Way

For this week's Sketch Challenge, I pulled a couple of strips I'd stamped with the old SU star wheel (can't remember its name!) and used them for the two panels. Then I stamped a scrap with a Rosewood stamp that has similar stars and cut it out with a Spellbinders ornament. I added the two words Joy and Noel and embossed them to make them stand out a bit. Attached it with a star brad and added some gold cord. And just to stick with the star theme, I used two star gemstones.

Not so sure I'm thrilled with the final result but will post it anyway!

Don't you love turning some of those stamped and unused pieces into a lovely card? I love all these gold stars! Have a good trip and I hope you find some good audiobooks to listen to.

This is really nice. I love the gold background and all the stars on your dp. Also the tag that is a star. It gave me an idea and went to my favorites for Casing. Very beautiful card.
