 | | This is a card I entered into our county fair and won First place and Best of Section. Talked about thrilled when I first saw the big rosette that was with the card at the fair.
I had shown my LSS owner what cards I was entering, and she asked why I wasn't doing a spirelli card. So off I went to do one and this is the result. Now I have to thank a wonderful SCS friend for a big part of this card too, Bridget, aka bfinlay, sent me some gorgeous threads and this copper thread was one of them.
I did the circles in opposing colors of thread and with the center circles, each half has opposing threads. The bg is stamped with a Memory Box leaf stamp and embossed. Topping it all off is a gorgeous copper wired ribbon.
So a huge Thank you to Helene and Bridget for your wonderful inspiration. It took me to winning a Best of Section rosette and First place!
