For today's CAS challenge (CAS183 - sketch by Tenia) and TLC challenge (TLC390 - water stamping).
I'm loving this new technique ... and I love the color combo of orange and pink. I water stamped the sponged cardstock with the leafy image from the Pendant Park stamp set from SU! It looks really wonderful in real life ... the camera just doesn't pick up the beautiful subtle leafy detail - but trust me, it's there!
I struggle with diagonal elements, so it took me a while to figure out this sketch. In the end, I used a subtle way to add this element, scoring and paper piercing two lines.

Great card Loll, I can see the water stamping on your flower. It really is a pretty technique. I have to remember your paper piercing next time I want a subtle look. I really like it. tfs

Nice! I like the pink/orange combo, too. Reminds me a bit of the old tie dye look.
I can see the leafy design in the pic and it looks really nice, but agree it is probably even more beautiful IRL. I'm with you about the diagonals. I actually love the visual interest they provide, but I get a bit twitchy whenever I try on my own cards. LOL!
TFS

What fabulous colours - and I believe you on the delicate effect of the water-stamping. Don't you just half-hate those techniques that are impossible to get a good photo of!!

Loll, Absolutely Gorgeous! I LOVE your color combo and subtle leaves on your water stamping background and flower. Your paper pierced diagonal is perfect for the sketch. TFS
