For today's TLC challenge. This is my third attempt, and I think I still need to practice more - but I will! The first failure was my fault - the stamp I used wasn't very deeply etched.
A2 Bazzill base. I sponged card with Chipped Sapphire and Faded Jeans and then water-stamped with RubberNecker's Striped backgrounder.
I stamped a Serendipity image (back with the name when I tidy my desk up somewhat!) on Bristol Board with Versafine Smokey Grey and coloured with distress inks. It's cut and layered with Spellbinders ovals.
I added a Hero Arts sentiment slightly shaped, and with three dots of Liquid Pearls.

Your bg turned out very well. It IS a fun tech. worth trying again too, as I am going to as well....so fun. The blue and yellow are so pretty together, and I think the way you did your strip for the sentiment is very neat...TFS..:0)

That stamp makes an excellent background with this technique!!! I especially like the navy blue and gold color combo!!! I am not sure, but I think we always called those black eyed Susans (the flowers). That is a wonderful stamp too! This is a very pretty card!!!

You have created such a beautiful striped background, Sabrina...who needs patterned paper when you can create such fabulous backgrounds like this!!!!! Love the pretty flower image, too, and the torn sentiment looks great!!!!
