This card was inspired by the beautiful butterfly that Kathleen"Lammie" sent to me. I told her I had something special in mind and this was the outcome.
I first did the embroidery on the Splendid Circles die cut, I love this die as the sewing holes are already there after die cutting. Since this is a fairly large circle die, I had to use the circle cutter to get the glitter circle for backing. The flowers are cut from the same glitter c/s with the MS hydrangea punch. Pearl pen is used for the centers.
Though the sewing may seem difficult, it's not, once you get the first few stitches in it flows easily.
Although it looks white here, the Splendid Circle is cut from cream c/s to match the butterfly.
My hope was to capture all the sparkle that is on this card. I didn't do to badly there.

Wow! This is splendid! Love silver and blue together. That butterfly would intimidate me but you really matched its sparkle so well. Congratulations on the photography too; it is really hard to get the sparkle and shine to show and you did it wonderfully. TFS

I have never tried the sewing like that, it looks so pretty and like a lot of work, but so worth it...:0)...going to have to give it a try. I dont have that die, but I bet you can punch holes in a circle and work with that....very pretty...TFS..:0)
