Congrats to Jean (Naturecoastcrafter) for being selected as the FS this week! There are many delightful cards in her gallery. I found a lot of inspiration. For this card and for future reference.
I created my CAS card based on this card from June of 2010, called "Love these Stamps." Hee! I hope I did it justice. Here it is:
I like solid color blocking but my creative spirit "told" me to give it a twist w/a little masking and my most fav bkgrd stamp from LKR. Instead of using one flower and a big leaf, I used PTI Harvest Berries. I stamped once on the card, then again, cutting out some of the leaves, using SU dimensionals to pop them up. I used Ranger spiced marmalade to add some random "berries," and stamped the IO sentiment in Memories black. Used a Ranger ink applicator w/sponge and wild honey ink, to distress all around the edges of the card.
Stamps: PTI, Local King Rubber, Impression Obsession
Paper: Paper Studios
Ink: SU, Ranger di, Memories
Accessories: Ranger blending tool, scrap paper for masking, SU dimensionals
THANKS for looking!

A nice case, Gabby. I like that bg stamp you used and have to say that I never heard of LKR until very recently. I now have a few of their stamps and think this one you used would fit nicely in my collection. The leaves and berries are great too!

This is awesome. I couldn't make the link work, but this is a super wonderful card. The fact that you popped up the ginko leaves really adds pizzaz. I love it.

Gabby,
You picked one of my favorite cards of all time and then you created one I like even more! Those ginger leaves are perfect and your background choice just makes them pop! Lovely, lovely, lovely. Thank you for honoring me so sweetly and beautifully.
