I love this stamp and wanted to use it as the basis for a birthday card for my niece. For some reason, I ran into a huge creative block. Once I colored the card, I could not figure out how to incorporate it into a card. After some inspiration by viewing girls birthday cards on SCS, I was finally able to come up with a layout that I really like. Phew!
The frame is NOT done with a Nestabilities die. I used a cheapie corner punch on my squares to get these cute nesting shapes. The
The stamp is colored with Prismacolor colored pencils and blended with odorless mineral spirits and blending stumps.
The sign is an actual piece of driftwood.
The shells and the crab are simple punches that I colored and coated with Crystal Effects.
Inside the card, I used the Crab & Company stamp that says "A Pinch to Grow an Inch".
Thanks for looking!
