Poppy Sympathy

Made this for this week's Cas-ual Fridays challenge -- make a square card.

Just got a box of new toys from SU on Friday and decided to ink up the Pleasant Poppies stamp for this card. My focal image was inspired by this beauty by ReginaBD. LOVE the look of the poppies overstamped on the text DSP.

I stamped a portion of the stamp onto text DSP, cutting it out with my square nesties. Colored in with Copics and added a black mat. The background paper is from my scrap stash. Added the sentiment from"Close as a Memory" set and called it done.

Finished card is 4.25" square.

Gorgeous card. Love those poppies, especially stamped on top of the text. The black frame really brings your eye to the center of your card. Beautifully done, my friend!
