A little over a year ago for the Mother's Day gifts at church I made owl punch rose corsages and at the time she was just my son's girlfriend but now my future DIL liked them so much that she wanted me to make corsages for the wedding which is in a week. I have finally finished them after remaking two of them.
This is for the Grandma's and I used the SU heart punch and SU blossoms petal builder punch. And added a little bling for the Grandma's
Edit: To make this flower you need to punch 10 hearts and sponge the edge on both sides. Make a 1/2 inch cut from the point and curl the humps of the heart with your bone folder. To make the petals glue the point of the heart in an 'x'. 8 of the hearts you will have the curls to the outside and 2 of the hearts to the inside (these with be the center of the rose). Punch a 1 1/4" circle and glue 4 of the petals to the circle edge. Glue 3 more petals for the second layer of petals. The 2 petals that are curled inward glue them together so that they sort of 'cup' each other and then glue them to the center of the circle. And your rose is complete. To finish it the leaves are from the blossom builder punch and there are 3 of them. I used a McGill flower making tool to shape the leaves and mark them so that it looks like 'veins' in the leaf and glue them to the back side of the circle. If you want to add bling or a bow that you can also glue them in front of or behind the leaves it is more of however you want them to look. I then punched another circle to cover up all leaf stems and bling stems and then you can put a pin back on that circle for the wearer to attach it to their clothing.
