The white striped vellum looks really yellow in this photo. It is not that much of a contrast in real life. I am not a huge fan of putting sentiments on the front of cards, especially if you don't want the words to draw away from focal image. Over half the cards I send have the sentiment on inside. Anyone else do that?

I love it when card makers want to dialogue. : ) I like your card. I believe it should be up to the designer on whether she/he wants to put a sentiment on the front of the card. I always pay attention to stores like Papyrus and Paper Source (both card stores) that carry clean and simple cards. Many of the cards do not have sentiments on the outside. In the end: let the design be your guide.

I really never thought about not putting the main greeting on the outside, but I really like the idea! So many cards can be framed and displayed as the art that they are! Thank you for your beautiful card and the idea!

I am so glad when beauties like this turn up in the recent comments or favorites. I'm not a frequent brouser, so I might have missed this. I think your card is just awesome.

haha...no. I guess I figure most cards need a sentiment on top! I think I shall have to try your way of thinking the next time I am in a jam on how to complete a card. Love that "thing" you've created!
